Role: Art Director & Experiential Designer
I led the visual and user experience across every deployment. I designed unique canvases and art directions for each event, defined the look of AI-generated patches, and ensured each composition stayed cohesive as guests contributed. I partnered with product, engineering, and events teams to build a scalable, easily customizable system.
Approach
Each mosaic began with a base canvas generated using the same AI image models as the guest patches. The canvas was designed to work as a visually compelling artwork on its own, even before any contributions were added. The full pipeline, from prompt submission to patch generation to canvas blending, was built entirely in-house. This gave us complete creative and technical control. No two mosaics looked the same, but the underlying system delivered consistent quality across events ranging from 150 to over 1,000 guest interactions.
Impact
The experience consistently drove strong engagement, with guests excited to see their ideas reflected in the artwork and to feel connected to the larger piece. It was successful enough to become a staple at all ongoing and upcoming events for the brand.
